Yup, it’s me! :) And thank you so much!! I keep forgetting that a lot of folks that I know on here, I don’t see their faces a lot, nor do they see mine, so there’s a lot of disconnect when we’re in the same physical space. We pass each other by and don’t recognize each other without our usernames and icons to identify ourselves. 

This is why I am a huge fan of nametags at fandom events. But I never follow through with the idea of actually wearing one!

Oh gosh, no. If you mean the thing about my bro, I’m happy about that - Dayv’s news is good! I just haven’t posted about that on here because I figured there weren’t many who know him on here, ha ha! No, the other thing that I was talking about is not cool at all and I will go into it after some legal stuff is taken care of, if I am able to!

Soon soon soon, hon! Trust me, there’s nothing that moves faster than time. I though it took forever for me to turn 21, but then from 27 to 35 took no time at all. It’s odd, the way it passes, but you will be in there having amazing bevs in no time!

yeah shisha tends to do that; i usually get newbies a bottle of water because it helps stave that off + stops the headache you can get. i love hookah tho :3 so many flavors!

It was definitely a new experience for me! We had one that could do more than one flavor, and it was blueberry on one side, mint on the other. I didn’t have water, though, just a lot of sangria.

  Oh wow! I grew up in Perth Amboy! That is such a coincidence!! Have you bern goinv to any of the local or NYC homestuck meetups? I did the 4/13 one in Central Park with my son, and Promstuck shortly after, but haven’t been to any of the more recent ones.

So it goes. I gotta wear the glasses as well. Though my hair does not get those curls.

They’re more trouble than they’re worth sometimes! Tangles easily, and I can’t comb them when they’re dry, or else I look like a giant puffball. But they can be fun! I hope to someday train them to look like River Song’s hair.

Aw, thank you! I tend to not wear my glasses, but I am starting to need them more and more. And the curls just sorta happen when it’s humid, heh. 

Just precious<3 my nephew started reading homestuck he’s 13 and he’s totally smitten with Dave, my only concern is how to deal with the cursing so far I’ve told him to not repeat/teach his friends those words is there really anything else I could do?

Well, I can tell you how we’ve been handling it. So far, the little man’s read through most of the story, although he’s skipped the intermission and the second half of act five (got impatient with me being so far ahead, but he wanted to see the intros for the trolls so badly…). Now, he knows that there are certain terms that will get him into trouble if he says them, whether inside of outside the house. There are some questionable ones (he called me a nooksniffer once; I laughed for hours.) that folks might look at him funny for saying, and there’s stuff that’s fine no matter where he goes. The main thing is that we discussed the language in question as he got to it, since we read a lot of it together, and went over what was okay and what wasn’t. Basically, we said that what might make a good character might not necessarily make someone a good person. And that even good people may sometimes engage in not-so-good behavior, for what it’s worth. 

Also I make him give me a quarter whenever he swears. (I get charged a dollar, myself, so it’s kinda fair.)

He’s three years younger than your nephew, though. Your mileage may vary. Just tell him not to drop any f-bombs in front of his parents for now. And encourage him to cosplay as Dave - that’ll be cute!
