And it wasn’t one of them new fangled Ebooks, no, it was pulp and ink and you could get the hardcover, sure, but because you were on a budget you waited ANOTHER YEAR for the paperback edition. If you were lucky and they decided to print them!
Look in 1994 it was REALLY HARD to wait two years for the next The Last Vampire book okay.
I have a lot of feelings about Christopher Pike’s The Last Vampire series. The original run Books 1-6 not the shitty new ones.
A LOT OF FEELINGS.
AUGH THE FIFTH ONE IS OUT OF PRINT AND I STILL CAN’T FIND A COPY THAT IS REASONABLY PRICED (it routinely sells for $100+)
I promise if I find one it will make its way to you! For me it was the Callahan and Xanth series. Not that they weren’t churned out regularly, but when I could read one over the space of a day an be SO STARVED FOR THE NEXT ONE and then, whoops, not for another eighteen months or so!
