Yo is there like, a story behind the song “Dear Spike”?

Because it’s like the cutest song ever.

I’m just curious. Any Aquacadets know?

It’s about Spy-Bat ordering a package, and back in the day The Aquabats! merch’ was notorious for being very slow with shipping. Said fan wrote a letter to his mail carrier regarding his package and upon receiving a reply, he wrote a song and sent it to The ‘Bats!. The song was completely fan written except the part involving the flying bus in the dream. 

Which makes it arguably the cutest song.

It’s so much fun to sing along to

The best part is when the horns come in and you can hear MCBC singing along with the brass riffs, it makes me grin.

  11. alexbenson answered: The lyrics for the verse are actually taken from the letter verbatim. Of course, the dream sequence was made up by MCBC.
